Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette Review.
Hey Cuties! Happy June! Summer is finally upon us! Summer has to be one of the most hectic times of year. NYC hustles and bustles around you, and Summer gives my city a certain hum. This palette has been one I've definitely been grabbing for, brushes in tow.
Blends like a dream.
These colors make an absolutely stunning gradient Cuties. As I've learned to love and expect from Urban Decay, these shadows are pigmented, and buttery smooth. They flow effortlessly into one another to create something truly spectacular. You can get these shadows blended into beautiful perfection. Without the feeling that you've done a couple of laps in an Olympic size pool.
Neutral colors are great transitions in this gem.
The neutral shades in the Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette lend beautifully to letting your bright, bold and sparkly shades take center stage. They work into your crease and brow bone and help elevate your bright and sparkly shades to a gorgeous level. Where would we all be without our neutrals?
Go light or pack it on girl!
What I find with these colors is that they don't mind being center stage or backstage Cuties. You want just a hint of the gorgeous deep shade Punk? You are absolutely able to, and you want to really make that brow bone more defined? Pack it on girl, pack it on!![]()
I miss the brush.
Okay, this is a really small complaint. I have been spoiled rotten by Urban Decay and their wonderful palettes having an included brush. Maybe a brush with one side that is a shader that I could really pack it on, and the other side that's similar to the Vice 4, where it's almost a stippling type brush.
Gwen Stefani is a queen.
If you Cuties ever think that a celebrity cannot make a good makeup palette, please Cuties, refer to this gem. The colors that she picked out work so beautifully together. I do not even get me started on the packaging that is so chic and modern. It makes me feel like an absolute celeb just owning it. Have you gotten your hands on this palette?
