First Impressions: MAC Viva Glam Matte Lipstick

MAC Viva Glam Matte Lipstick:

 Hey Cuties, as you could see if you've been staying up to date, I've been going on quite the lipstick spree lately. But this time around, in a wonderful surprise, my fiance picked me up my very first MAC lipstick. As you can imagine for a lipstick junkie like me this was a very monumental event. So I am very excited to see what the hype is all about.

Smells heavenly.

I love the smell of vanilla on this lipstick. Every time I open this lipstick, I’m greeted with a sweet scent of vanilla. I feel like some companies don’t realize the effect of smell in products. You have to get it just right to make it a hit. I feel like MAC does this really well.

Beautiful packaging.

MAC’s classic bullet is already gorgeous, this red accented bullet totally hits the mark for me. I actually love this a little more than the classic. If the idea was for it to feel more fancy, it definitely worked on me Cuties.

A little dry.

I did notice this matte finish in particular did dry out my lips a bit. It didn’t necessarily settle into my lips too much but my lips just generally felt drier with this lipstick on.

 Very wearable.

The shade itself I find it so wearable Cuties. In a professional sense as well too, I feel like you could feel wear this to your workplace like the bad ass you are Cuties. 

MAC is MAC Cuties.

I don’t have any more MAC lipsticks, that might be changing really quick. I hope all the formulas are good because I know they have different finishes. Overall I am giddy that I finally got my hands on my first MAC lipstick. Talk about a rite of passage huh?
